AAP workers stop near PPR Market in Jalandhar Model Town, election officials rush to the spot

 

Aam Aadmi Party volunteers have seized two trucks at PPR Market in Jalandhar Model Town. These trucks were loaded with track suits. On the back of the track suit is written 'Sadda Channi' in Punjabi language. It is suspected that the track suits were on their way to distribute them in Chamkaur Sahib, the assembly constituency of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, who was caught in Jalandhar.

The trucks have been seized by Aam Aadmi Party volunteers. After seizing the trucks, a complaint has also been lodged with the district election officer. After receiving the complaint, the team reached the spot and started the investigation. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Jalandhar West Sheetal Angural, Aam Aadmi Party district president Rajwinder Kaur and Congress general secretary Balraj Thakur have also reached the spot.

Aam Aadmi Party candidate Sheetal Angural said that the Congress party is doing politics of temptation. The voters are distributing track suits to them for payment in their favour. Congress holds two trucks of track suits, thousands of them track suits. Sadda Channi is written on them. For five years, the Congress has not given anything to anyone, now people are being lured and tried to get votes. Meanwhile, Rajwinder Kaur said that it is against the rules to give any kind of inducement in the elections. He said the manner in which the Congress has adopted the method of inducement to woo voters in its favour will also be complained to the Election Commission. Congress district president Balraj Thakur has also reached the spot as soon as the information was received that two trucks of track suits with Sada Channi were seized. He said the Congress does not do politics of temptation but believes in development and the work of the people. He said that he has brought all the documents regarding the track suits that have been caught and he is going to show them to the Election Commission team as well.
